I spent a good chunk of October exploring something I’ve patiently waited for my entire life–the South African Bush.
(*Insert moment of silent reflection.*)
With abundant shrubbery and thorny vegetation, the Kruger National Park ecosystem teems with wildlife, permeating your whole being with a sensation that you’ve crossed into another world…quite possibly the Garden of Eden.
Lion Sands Game Reserve and Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge were heaven on earth. The field guides and trackers were extraordinarily knowledgeable in animal behavior, conservation practices, and precisely how much Amarula makes a “Bush coffee” superb! 😉
Words fail to capture the sensory experience, including visiting Victoria Falls, the Victoria Falls Wildlife Trust (in Zimbabwe), Cape Town, and Johannesburg (in South Africa). Thus, I’ll let pictures paint a few thousand words for me. 🙂

PS: I have hundreds of photos and videos (no exaggeration), so these are only an “I-spy-with-my-little-eye” appetizer to whet your appetite for your journey!
